Forum Instructions
The forum is a place to ask questions and post discussion topics.
Anyone can read through the forum, but you must first log-in
to post a question or topic to the forum. In order to log-in, you
will need to subscribe
to the site once.
To Sort Questions and Topics
The forum automatically defaults to showing every topic on the
forum. This allows you to see an overview of forum activity, and
participate in everything. If you want to focus on a particular
category, choose a different category in the Sort By Category drop-down
menu, and click Go. The forum will then display only the topics
and questions in that sector. You also have the option of sorting
by:
| All Questions |
Lists all of the posted questions in the
chosen category. |
| All Unanswered Questions |
Lists all field questions that have not received
a response, in the chosen category. |
| By Activity |
Lists the topics and questions within a chosen
category that have had the most activity. |
| By Date |
Lists the topics and questions within a chosen
category chronologically, with the most recent first. |
To Read Through Questions and Topics
The first few words of each topic, question or reply are displayed.
To see the entire entry, click on the "Expand" link to
the left of the first word in the posting. Replies are indented
and posted below each topic, question or earlier reply.
To Post a New Question or Topic
You need to log-in before
posting anything. Click on the link on the left-hand sidebar that
says, "Post a New Topic". You will be presented with a
form to fill out the necessary details. Questions or topics, which
have not received any activity for 30 days, are automatically archived.
They are accessible through the forum archive, which is a link off
of the left-hand sidebar.
To Reply to a Question, Topic or Earlier Reply
You need to log-in before
replying. Click on the Reply link next to the topic, question or
earlier reply to which you want to reply. A separate page will show
up where you can enter your message and then click submit. Your
reply will be posted. The person to whom you have replied will receive
e-mail notification of your reply if they have chosen to do so.
